Dentistry is a great profession to go into. The reason behind this is because no matter if you’re a dentist in Palm Beach or doing Invisalign in Birmingham, you have the option to touch people’s lives and in many cases make them better. Most healthcare institutions can’t refuse to help you if you can’t pay. With being a dentist, you’re a different type of healthcare professional and you want to help people in pain any way that you can. Most dentists consider themselves to be doctors and they have every right to see themselves this way. The reason being is they treat a symptom, whether it’s pain or a missing tooth. Doctors work in the same aspect and as such help people in many ways that dentists can’t. The trade off for this is that many doctors will refer a patient to a dentist if they can’t properly help them.
